An introduction to FUHR and its Products
For 150 years now, FUHR has been developing and producing successful locking systems for doors, windows and gates.

FUHR UK attains 'Secure by Design' Accreditation for Multi Point Locking System.
FUHR UK is pleased to announce the approval of a range of their multi point locking system for its 'Secure by Design' Accreditation. The approved systems are:
Lever-lever locks:
- FUHR 856 2 hooks, 2 rollers inboard of hook
- FUHR 856 2 hook 2 rollers outboard of hook (known as 'compact trade lock')
- FUHR 856 2 hook 2 rollers outboard of hook (known as 'trade lock')
Split spindle locks:
- FUHR 859 2 hooks, 2 rollers inboard of hook
- FUHR 859 2 hooks 2 rollers outboard of hook (known as 'compact trade lock')
- FUHR 859 2 hook 2 roller out board of hook (known as 'trade lock')
These have been successfully tested as a critical components within the standards:
- BS PAS 23-1: 1999 General performance requirements for door assemblies - Part 1: Single leaf, external door assemblies to dwellings.
- BS PAS 24-1:2007 Enhanced security performance requirements for door assemblies: Single and double leaf, hinged external door assemblies to dwellings.
