FUHR Multisafe New products
FUHR have announced the introduction of a new set of 4 locks available in lever/lever (856) and night latch (859) versions. This range comprises:
- a compact 2 hook, 2 roller with rollers outboard in lift lever or night latch version.
- a trade 2 hook, 2 roller with rollers outboard again in lift lever or night latch version.
2 Hook, 2 (Outboard) Roller Lock
This lock features 2 hooks and 2 outboard rollers. The outboard rollers are very effective at sealing the corners. When fitted with shoot bolts top and bottom, this lock can be used on doors as short as 1860mm. If shoot bolts are not fitted the minimum length can be reduced to 1500mm. This lock is available in lift lever locking and nightlatch modes.

It will operate in normal use for more than 200,00 cycles and is guaranteed for 10 years. It has two hooks and two out compression cams.

Trade 2 Hook, 2 (Outboard) Roller Lock
Again, this lock features 2 hooks and 2 outboard rollers. The outboard rollers are very effective at sealing the corners. It is envisaged this lock will be used on standard height doors without shoot bolts. Without shoot bolts the minimum door height is 1735mm. If shoot bolts are employed, the minimum door height will be 2080mm. This lock is available in lift lever locking and nightlatch modes.
A feature of the Trade Lock is that it has a routing detail common to competitors' products. This may mean that the fabricator can switch to the FUHR trade lock without changing machining settings.
