This solution offers a door which is split into two halves. The top half can be opened for ventilation or conversation whilst the bottom half can remain closed for added security and to restrain pets and young children.

This assembly comprises two locks. The upper section uses a type 856 lock and this includes a hook, roller, latch and deadbolt. The lower section uses a type 855 lock with hook, roller and key but it does not have a latch.When the lower section lock is unlocked, it throws a shootbolt which engages in the upper door section.
