Gas Fill Equipment

DGS are able to offer a range of gas fill and gas testing machines in association with our partner Inagas.

Gas Fillers by Inagas

Introduction

Inagas filling machines are designed for efficiency, reliability and ease of operation. The range provides gas flow rates up to 180 litres per minute and gas percentage fill rates are consistently accurate. All Inagas machines combine the latest easy-to-use control systems within proven and reliable design parameters. They are the most technically advanced gas filling machines available.

The heart of the technology is the dispenser's ability to detect the presence of gas in the IG unit and constantly monitor the percentage fill rate during the filling process. Gas flow is stopped automatically when the required gas fill percentage has been reached. The filling sequence is initiated by pressing the Start button. No further action is needed; the entire process being automatic to completion of the fill. The touch pad controls enable gas percentage levels to be changed, dwell times to be altered, gas calibration to be checked and the display also provides fault finding analysis.

All Inagas machines are calibrated to deliver Argon gas, but the IGA10 series can be adapted to supply Krypton or Xenon gas if required for specialist applications.

All Inagas Models incorporate the following features:

  • Computer control with automatic gas flow shut-off on completion of filling process
  • Audible and visual signal when IG is filled
  • Gas sensor meter
  • Filling lance
  • Sensor lance
  • Gas regulator
  • Hoses

Window Energy Rating - The Future of Energy Efficient Windows

energy_rating_c.jpg

The British Fenestration Rating Council (BFRC) in conjunction with the UK glazing industry and European partners has designed a window rating system to meet the need for simple and accurate information system which can be used to provide energy efficiency information that is easily understood and can be used to compare fenestration products. The simple 'U value' does not fulfil these requirements because it only focuses on the heat loss from the window and takes no account of the solar heat gain through windows which can improve the overall energy efficiency of the house. From 1 October 2010, all newly manufactured windows will be required to attain at least a 'C' rating on the BFRC system.
