The Gretsch-Unitas GmbH ("GU") manufacturing procedure is in accordance with ISO9001. In the UK, GU products are distributed in accordance with EN ISO9002.

All GU products (the "Products") distributed by GU Limited (subject to the conditions and provisions of this Guarantee) are guaranteed against component failure for a period of 25 years from date of sale by GU Limited.

1. It is a condition of this Guarantee that the Products have been correctly specified as being fit for purpose and that the Products are installed, commissioned and maintained strictly in accordance with the manufacturers' instructions.
2. Failure of the Products caused or accelerated by fair wear and tear, unauthorised alteration, abnormal working conditions, wilful damage, negligence, misuse, vandalism or extreme environmental conditions, is excluded.
3. This Guarantee is null and void if repairs are undertaken by non-authorised persons or if non-original GU parts are used or if the Products are used in breach of specified purpose.
4. Subject as expressly provided herein and except where the Products are distributed to an individual dealing as a consumer (within the meaning of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977) all warranties, conditions or other terms implied by statute or common law are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
5. GU Limited are assessed under the Sold Secure product registration scheme which offers the specifier additional peace of mind that the products are approved by the insurance industry.
6. GU Limited shall be under no liability under this Guarantee (or any other warranty, condition or guarantee) if the total price of the Products has not been paid by the due date for payment.
7. Except in respect of death or personal injury caused by negligence of GU Limited, GU Limited shall not be liable by reason of any representations (unless fraudulent) of any implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law for any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage (whether for loss of profit or otherwise) costs, expenses or other claims for compensation whatsoever (whether caused by the negligence of GU Limited, its employees or agents or otherwise) which arise out of or in connection with the supply of the Products or their use or resale and the entire liability of GU Limited shall not exceed the price of the Products in question.
8. This Guarantee shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England.
9. This Guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.
10. Each Guarantee claim must be submitted in writing and no work shall be authorised until written consent is given.
11. This Guarantee shall apply to products sold from 1/3/2007.
