DGS Friction Stays are suitable for use with most profiles and timber.

DGS quality and reliability is recognised everywhere; our friction stays are designed and manufactured under the ISO 9001:2000 quality standard. In house testing is routinely carried out on all ranges up to 50,000 cycles (equivalent to 100 years use) and performance is further endorsed by the British Board of Agrément and BSI.

DGS is a supplier to and is specified by many local authorities.

All DGS friction hinges are made to be fitted with the minimum of effort and slotted fixing holes allow for maximum adjustment.

Window security, fire or emergency exit, child safety, easy cleaning and anti-corrosion: all come within the scope of DGS stays.

DGS offer three ranges of friction stay;

• DGS Elite Range - in six variants to cover most situations and requirements.
• DGS Trade Stay - the original non-handed stay.
• DGS Mega Stay - for loadings up to 40kg.

The Elite range comprises:

• Elite Fire Escape Egress Stay with Child Restrictor.
• Elite XL and XXL very heavy duty range.

Many hinges are available in:

• Standard 13mm stack height.
• 15mm stack height.

• Ferritic or austenitic steel.
• Various combinations.
• Plus integrated restrictor available on 12" side hung and above
