New from DGS, the Restrictor Safety Catch is the quick and easy way to limit window opening to 100mm in compliance with BS 8213‑1:2004.

Suitable for PVCu, timber or aluminium window profiles, the restrictor safety catch can be used in conjunction with all DGS friction hinges.

The DGS restrictor safety catch is easy to fit, with no profile routing required. A unique patented mechanism with hidden spring and no sharp edges ensures ease of operation and maximum safety.

With a 10 year guarantee and corrosion protection to BS EN 1670 Class 4, the DGS Restrictor Safety Catch provides long-life window safety for new or retrofit installations

DGS Window Intruder Restrictor

When using DGS Friction Stays you can consider using the DGS window intruder restrictor. These are used in pairs, one piece on the frame and one on the sash. When the window is closed, the two identical components interlock and restrict the opportunity to jemmy the window open. Use of this product will enhance security and may help you to achieve compliance with BSI 7950.

DGS 'K' Type Window Intruder Restrictor

The standard DGS WIR Window Intruder Restrictor is unsuitable for use with DGS Egress Friction Stays due to the geometry of these stays. If using DGS egress stays, you can consider using the DGS 'K' type intruder restrictor. Again, these are used in pairs, one piece on the frame and one on the sash. When the window is closed, the two identical components interlock and restrict the opportunity to jemmy the window open. Use of this product will enhance security and may help you to achieve compliance with BSI 7950.
