Sales Professional - Based near Exeter Branch
DGS is a well established group operating within the very competitive window and door industry for 32 years. We employ around 200 personnel in 11 branches. Planned, controlled growth has increased turnover to around £30 million and this continues to grow despite the effects of the economic downturn. We now have a vacancy for a sales person based near our Exeter Branch.
You will have an excellent technical knowledge of window and door hardware, including more obscure systems such as stable doors and folding doors. In addition it would be useful to have a good working knowledge of sealed unit materials and building plastics.
DGS operates a very lean management system and if you are the type of person who needs supervision then it would be best to not apply for this position. We are looking for a sales professional with a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar environment who can from day one generate results.
You will be responsible for:
- The maintenance of our current customer base, giving technical support and being aware of and able to respond to attacks from competitors.
- The development of this customer base.
